Bochum – 77-Year-Old Survives Car Accident Largely Unharmed
A senior citizen (77) had luck in misfortune on Easter Saturday in Bochum. On Hiltroper Landwehr street in Bochum (North Rhine-Westphalia), the woman lost control of her Mercedes around noon.
Her car crashed into two vehicles parked on the side of the road and, due to the force of the impact, ended up with the passenger side in the air.
The 77-year-old survived the traffic accident in the city in the Ruhr area largely unharmed, but in a precarious tilted position, from which she could not immediately be freed. Because the Mercedes threatened to crash onto the street from its curious parking position, the firefighters first stabilized the car. Then, they freed the driver from her predicament through the trunk. After an hour, the operation for the firefighters was over. The police did not provide any information about the amount of damage.
